Taiwan: Beauty Haul

Hello my half-dead-blog. So as you know, I just visited Taiwan a few days back. OMG I can't wait to share my beauty haul with you guys!

86 Shop

86 Shop (86小铺) is a beauty shop where they sell makeup & beauty products, skin care, hair care, nail polish and etc. It's kind of like Sephora. But of course, 86 Shop is not as fancy as Sephora haha. Most of the brands featured are from Taiwan itself, Korea, and Japan. I didn't know about this shop until my bestie a.k.a Sam told me about it lol cuz she's currently studying in Taiwan.

Anyway, I purchased a few beauty products and thought I should share with you as a quick guide!

 Scentio: The Egg Treatment Mask

It is a hair treatment mask. The hair mask is infused with egg white protein and egg yolk oil to help in the scalp and also to prevent hair loss. If you know me personally, or maybe you can see it in my photos, my hair is pretty damaged and messy. I have bad hair day like basically everyday lmao. This hair mask helps to reconstruct dry and damage hair. Oh gawd that's exactly what my grass-looking hair needs!

I use it twice a week. After I wash off my shampoo, I massage it into my hair and scalp thoroughly and rinse after 3-5 minutes. My hair does look smoother after using it. And my hair smells so so naiseeee~ Doesn't smell like egg at all lmao.

Mise En Scene: Perfect Repair hair serum (3 in 1 hair care package)

I made up the name myself ahahaha what 3 in 1 package ahhaha. Okay, it comes with 2 hair serum and one hair treatment, telling you this just to in case if you're blind cannot see.

YES THIS HAIR SERUM!!! I read people raving about how amazing it is, so many positive reviews thus I have to check it out myself, too! I can't remember how much was this package, 399 NTD if I am not wrong? And if you only purchase one single hair serum, it would be 329 NTD. So yeah, apparently this one is much more worth it. Like super worth it, lol. It is a Korean brand, like duhhh see all the Korean words.

I apply it when my hair is damp, and after that, I would dry my hair. Omg really, my hair is much smoother after using thissss. Or maybe it is just simply because I just trimmed my split end, Idk hahaahah. But I think more or less this hair serum helps though.

Mise En Scene: Perfect Serum Treatment

The one included in the 3 in 1 package is a travel size with only 30ml. This one is a 180ml full size hair treatment. Asked the staff is The Egg or this one better? She said this one. Ok just get one lol.

I haven't tried this yet, cuz I'm currently using The Egg Hair Treatment, cannot be so greedy to use both at the same time. Please don't disappoint me :((((((

Senka: Perfect Whip

This is a marshmallow cleansing foam that I see lots of people raving. For me, I personally don't think it is like super good or something, it is just normal. Not really special. Not worth the rave leh?

Besides, I don't really feel refreshed after using it. Hmm...... :/ Feels rough some more??? I don't like it. A big nay from me :x

Alovivi Purevivi: Cleansing Lotion

Was about to purchase Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, but then the staff at 86 Shop recommended me to get this instead. She said more people are choosing this as compared to the Bioderma Micellar Water. People are raving for the Bioderma one and I always wanted to check it out. But then since she recommended this, I just went for it lol.

Alovivi Purevivi cleansing lotion claims to remove your makeup, cleanse your skin, moisturize and soothe your skin. In this way, you practically don't have to rinse it off and can just straight away apply your skin care products.

I tried using Biore Micellar Cleansing Water, it did remove my makeup and also waterproof mascara & eyeliner. But I had to use 4-5 cotton pads to clean my entire face, 2 pumps on each cotton pad. Used up almost half a bottle in 3 weeks. Very fast sia.

If you ask me to choose between Biore and AP, I would definitely choose AP. Why? Simply because I feel that it is easier to remove my makeup (including waterproof mascara!) and my face feels soft and hydrated after using it. It is so gentle to the skin. So far the only con of the product is that - it irritates my eyes when I use it to remove my eye makeup. In spite of that, it is still a yay from meeee. *Thumbs up*

Solone: Captivating Dolly Liquid Eyeliner 

I have been using Kiss Me Heroin liquid eyeliner, and omg I loved it so much! Because it doesn't smudge and it stays all day long on my eyelids. I repurchased for like 3 times at least. And then I switched to MAC gel liner, and I instantly fell in love with gel linerrrrr. Cuz it is easier to apply hahaha and it doesn't smudge too! I finished my Kiss Me Heroin liquid eyeliner for quite a while already, so it is time to restock even tho I don't really use liquid eyeliner anymore lol. Chose this Solone eyeliner as I heard that it stays and doesn't smudge too. I had one Solone pencil eyeliner, and it was okay for me :) So I suppose this will be fine.

 Miss Hana: Mega Long Extended Curling Mascara

I accidentally purchased two exactly same mascara lol because I went to 86 Shop in 2 days respectively. On my second visit, I didn't remember that I actually bought one already, so I got another one. I don't know if it was just me that I was blind or what, but the shop doesn't have much mascara eh? Most of the products names were written in Chinese or Japanese or Korean. Very luen sui. And I am not really familiar with the brands there too :/ But I've heard about Miss Hana for the past few years, cuz my 2 baobei xiao jie love the brand so much.

Recently, I only apply some light natural eyeshadow and mascara, very lazy for eyeliner. So I used up mascara quite fast, I think it's fine to buy 2 of this lol.

Anyway I tried using this mascara and shit it smudgeddd! *cry* :( My expectation for it was high though. And I don't really like the formula, a bit dry. Need to bake my under eyes every time when I use this mascara... Personally don't recommend this. Save your cash ladies.

Miss Hana: Cushion Lip Pen (#01 Berry Garden) 

Bestie a.k.a Eli wanted to get this. Got it for her. So no review for this hehe.

Did not get any lipstick for myself cuz I am not a big fan of lipsticks. I mean yes I love applying lipstick but I already have a lot so no new lipsticks needed so farrrrrr.

 Foundation Brush

Yes, a brush. Random brush cuz it was cheap haha.

Blending Sponge

Should I call 'em Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and Beauty Blender? Hahahaha nah. They're inspired like duh so obvious. These are super cheap in the shop, so I got myself some! :)

Miss Hana: Duchess Nail Polish

Look at this nail polish colour, so weird lol. This was actually a free gift cuz I bought too much stuff in the shop I think. The staff just say it's a gift. Why ah I didn't think of asking for some other options/colour? Stoooopid.

Pure Smile: Choosy Lip Mask

Lip maskkkkkkkkkk. I have chapped lipsssss. I need this! Wanted to buy another one but the staff asked me to buy this (lmao again). She said she tried both (I can't remember what brand was the other one), and she told me that the other one doesn't really help lol. Ok I trust u.

Innisfree

Don't tell me you've not heard about Innisfree lol. I used to be so obsessed with their products haha idk why. Maybe it was because it was new in Malaysia. Or maybe people love it so I follow hahahahaha lame. But seriously, their products are quite okay. I didn't get much stuff from Innisfree cuz KL also got, get for what ahahaha can get in KL.

Lip Tint & Nail Polish 

I love Innisfree orange lip tint. It looks more natural as compared to the pink one. But the only con is that it dries up my lips... Very painful sia I always have to peel my lip skin off after using it. So I always have to spam lip balm. Perhaps I should switch brand? :/

Nail polishhhhhh omg I used to be so crazy, I loved to paint green or blue colour nail polish ahahha. But now not that siao ady. Got 2 new polish from the shop, glitter gold and glitter rose gold. Omg when I saw them I was like I must gettttttttt. The glitter gold was the last bottle ady! Grab ahaha.

Sheep Oil Lip Balm

HAHAHAHAH like weird leh I bought stuff from a farm. But as mentioned earlier, my lips are always dry and I have to spam lip balm on a daily basis lol. I am currently using Sephora one, don't really like it cuz I bought the wrong colour. And some more it tastes & smells so sweet (lol yes I always lick my lips, bad habit). This Sheep Oil lip balm doesn't have any colour and it smells okay. Acceptable hehe. And I don't have to apply a lot of product on my lips, a very thin layer is more than enough.

So this sums up my beauty haul! Beauty products that I bought in Taiwan. Didn't really get much stuff though :c
